Barriers to physical activity – Parent’s focus group
In order to better engage and support parents and carers of young Disabled people who are looking for sporting activities, or just want to be a bit more physically active, Disability Rights UK, British Wheelchair Basketball and Whizz Kidz will be hosting a couple of parent and carer focus groups in September. This is so we can get into the real detail of how we can best support by speaking directly to parents about their current experiences, what they look for if anything and how they would like to be better supported to help their child to become more physically active.
