If you are looking for information or personal stories that will help you get active as a Disabled person, then these will be the resources for you.
After months of hard work with our partners at Clear Honest Design, we’re pleased to be launching our new website. Together with Clear Honest Design, we’ve been working to make the new website more accessible, easier to navigate and more rewarding for everyone we work with.
As you can see, a lot has changed, and we hope you’ll agree with us that these are positive steps forward!
Firstly, you’ll see that the new home page has a new navigation bar designed to show you specific content depending on your capacity to visit us.
We know that sometimes you might be visiting us as an individual or come to us as part of your work, and this new navigation bar will help you find the right content quickly.
To make our pages more accessible, we have updated them with quick links to take you to any section. We hope this is helpful if the pages are longer or have a specific section you’d like to visit.
You will also find pages updated with estimated reading difficulty and reading time, so you know exactly what you’re getting into and whether it is right for you!
As you’ll see, the website has been split into four audience groups to represent who we work with as part of our programme. The content is tagged and sorted to ensure you will always be able to find what you need anywhere on the site!
On our Guides, Resources, Stories and Updates page, you can sort and find content that is tagged according to the Audience and the Topic.

We have created a series of resources for anyone who cares for or supports a Disabled person in a professional or personal capacity and wants to help them get active.
We’ve added a lot of new topics to help you find content that is exactly what you need. There are over 15 topics to choose from, including Barriers, Co-production and The Together Fund.
We have also updated where you’ll find our resources on the new website. These can be found on the new navigation bar at the top of every website page.
We’ve now split the website into:
We also have new About and Contact us pages which will help you better understand who we are, what we do and how you can contact us.
We are so excited for you to be able to use the new website. And we want to hear from you about how you’re finding it. Please do reach out to us at GYAInfo@disabilityrightsuk.org with any feedback.
We’d love for you to share your experiences of getting active and having fun wherever you are. Please do get in touch to share your thoughts on the latest news or what sport and physical activity mean to you.
